Remove Dual Boot

Some websites may suggest you use the Recovery Console to repair the Master Boot Record. Do not do this, as you will be forced to reinstall Windows to access it, which could mean losing your data if not prepared.

If you already removed the partition in which the secondary Operating System is installed, simply edit the boot.ini file so your computer will not ask you which Operating System you want to start.

To delete a parition in which the secondary Operating System is installed, follow these instructions.

Next, edit the boot.ini file, then restart your system to verify.
