If you want a disc that will play in your DVD player, the movie will have to be encoded just right. You will have to use a DVD authoring program. Try one of the following: DVD Moviefactory, Roxio, or Nero. However, if you’re on a limited budget, look at the open source DVD Styler.

When Windows stops functioning as it should, the likely cause is either Viruses or spyware, which hook into system files. Also, your system has been modified and it is highly likely more viruses have infected your system without your knowledge. You can use the Windows XP installation disc to run a Windows XP repair install, but it is a phenomenally better idea to wipe the hard drive and create a fresh (clean) installation, eliminating any chances of anything being left behind.
